Systems Engineer gains two MCP's within 5 weeks.

Systems Engineer Tom gained two MCP's within 5 weeks of joining AME.

Tom has gained the Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) accreditation in both Windows Vista and Windows Server 2003. In both exams Tom acheived a very high pass rate.

 

By passing the Windows Vista exam, it demonstrates that Tom has the skills and knowledge to:

 

Install and upgrade Vista

Configure and troubleshoot Post-installation system settings

Configure Windows security features

Configure network connectivity

Configure applications included with Windows Vista

Maintain and optimise systems that run Windows Vista

Configure and troubleshoot mobile computing

 

By passing the Windows Server exam, Tom is now qualified to complete the following tasks:

 

Managing and Maintaining Physical and Logical Devices

Managing Users, Computers, and Groups

Managing and Maintaining Access to Resources

Managing and Maintaining a Server Environment

Managing and Implementing Disaster Recovery.

Tom is already revising for his next MCP which is he due to take within the next month. This will help him work towards the Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer accreditation....
