This course will share knowledge and principles of Data Protection. We will explore the role of the Data Protection Officer and during this section, the duty of processing personal data will be covered, and the rights of data subjects will be investigated. The challenges DPOs may encounter will also be discussed.
The Data Privacy Impact Assessment (DPIA) is a core element of demonstrating compliance for the DPO. This will be covered and you will leave the course with a plan of approach for your organisation.
Candidates should have a developed understanding of GDPR prior to attendance, such as attendance on the GDPR Practitioner course
